Le Parc aux Bambous An excursion on your own, with your family, in a group or with school, to discover the world of bamboo. Surrounded by green, at the bank of a river, on more than 4 ha, between century old trees Le Parc aux Bambous invites you to discover over a 100 different species: from mini-bamboo to giants who can grow up to more than 50 cm a day. Laid out paths offer you the possibility to stroll through flowerbeds, a bamboo labyrinth, ponds, shady resting-places…
Surroundings Come and visit our beautiful garden at the food of the Midi-Pyrenees. In the heart of an environment wich with cultural and historical sites.   Our parc lies at the bank of the river l'HERS that springs from the mountains dominated by the famous château of Montségur she also brings water to the renowned bastion of Mirepoix as well as the mysterious church of Vals with many fresco's. In a circle of less than 60 kilometers you can find the cité of Carcassonne ; Toulouse, the pink city ; the proud château of Foix  which protects les Forges de Pyrène  and the prehistoric parc of Tarascon as well as Ax-les-Thermes  with it's thermal sources at the foot of Andorre.   In our own village of Lapenne you can find la Ferme aux Bisons and it's inn with original meat. In this rich environment you can find peace and quiet in our gardens.
